HuttonsKiwi Ltd, Frankton - Internal Access Stairway Tower

Thankyou, again, for an excellent job of work on the above access stairway.

Itis not easy to install such a structure inside an existing and operatingfactory. The weekend and odd hour work undertaken by your staff wasappreciated.

WestfieldDesign & Construction

To Whom it May concern.

Waikato Steel Fabricators wherecontracted in November 2009 to supply the shop drawings for the WestfieldChartwell Farmers project & were contracted in December 2009 for thefabrication, supply & erection of the structural steel for the sameproject.

I would like to make the followingcomments on performance to date on this contract.

1.       Shop drawings:

·        The shop drawings were delivered for approval as per the contract timing &the quality of the drawings was excellent with minimal corrections required.

2.       Fabrication & Erection:

·        650 tonnes of structural steel was required for the project of which 600 tonneswas for the main structure

·        Erection programme was from 15th Feb. to 30th April forthe main structure.

·        The actual erection started on 10th Feb & was completed on 23rdApril. (10 weeks which was a great result)

·        Currently WSF are completing the balance of the structural steel.

WSF have met or bettered thefabrication & erection of the structural steel for this project. I havefound them to be honest with their costs, reliable in their communication, professional in all aspects of our dealings & have an excellent erectioncrew. I admit I was concerned when such a young erection team came to site, butI was pleasantly surprised with their skill, work ethic & commitment tomeet the programme dates.

Sectional handovers for each phasewere generally as per the programme & the works were complete at handoverwith minimal rectification works required.

In summary, this is the first time Ihave worked with WSF & look forward to working with them in the futurewhether in the Waikato or Auckland area.

If you have any questions regardingthe above, please don’t hesitate to call or email me (my details are below) forany additional information you may require.

RCR ENERGY SYSTEMS

Hi Simon ,

Many thanks to you and your companyfor the efforts in supplying the seismic steel for this project as promptly asyou did. Producing shop drawings, fabricating, and rushing it through the galvplant in the time you had would not have been easy. The end result is that wehave been able to substantially complete the installation of seismic guides asthe new boiler has been re fired, and just met the clients requirements. A muchappreciated effort.
